When you are a wedding photographer you meet a lot of wonderful couples. I have to say, Stephanie & Cody’s Carolina Inn wedding was a blast and one that I will never forget. It was so great that I (Christobal) was smiling all the way back to Raleigh after the wedding.
What made the wedding so wonderful? Everything! The bridal party, the weather, the location, the vendors, the family and the venue. I arrived at The Carolina Inn to hang out with the ladies and it was a party in there. Lots of laughing and singing with a very happy bride constantly smiling.
The beautiful ceremony site was filled with close friends and family. Arioso Strings played to the crowd, as Cody and his best man walked to the officiant. That same officiant is also a person whose wedding I documented 8 years ago. Stephanie graciously walked down the aisle with her father to meet her future husband. Twenty minutes later, they walked up the aisle as husband and wife.
We later headed to the Hill Ballroom to get the party started. I must say that Kristin with Viva L’Event kept everyone and everything on schedule. There are a lot of moving parts to a wedding and she did a fantastic job.
The ballroom was filled with beautiful flowers from Fresh Affairs. The cake looked amazing because it was created by Cinda’s Cakes (it tasted great too) and the Empty Pocket Band was ready to go.
Stephanie and Cody entered the ballroom with a roar and arms raised up in victory. They danced to “You Are The Best Thing,” with the dance floor surrounded with guests. Dinner followed and next were toasts from the best man and maids of honor.
The dance floor was packed the whole night and the exit was an epic snowstorm of confetti everywhere! It was a great day, great night and great wedding. Congrats Stephanie & Cody!
