Weddings are about to be in full swing and so are engagement portraits. I had the thrill of a lifetime leaving Raleigh to visit Channing & Tyler in White Lake, NC to for their portrait session. It was a great day for a drive and as a photographer I (Christobal) love getting out of town seeing new sights. We met at her parents’ house and although they were both a little nervous initially, they turned into portrait pros quickly.
As we walked near the water, I noticed that it was crystal clear. “That’s why they call it White Lake,” said Channing with a southern smile. At that same moment, her father found a baby turtle which is the only color image in this series. It was the perfect day for an engagement portrait session and we all were thrilled with how the images turned out.
The color images from the session are vibrant and spectacular, but I love how great Channing & Tyler look in black and white. You can truly feel how much fun they have together and the love that they share. I can’t wait for the wedding because we are going to have a great time at Prestonwood Country Club!
